I have a review of Iron Fist Real Nail Polish Strips. Iron Fist is a fashion brand that sells clothing, bags, shoes etc. I already own a really awesome pair of shoes, I needed a new bag so when I was looking through an ebay store, I also found that they have nail polish strips! They were on sale so I bought a set with my new bag. I've got the American Nightmare Pink Nail Polish design with skulls.

The package includes 12 nail polish strips and has color and top coat in one. It also includes a Cuticle stick and a small nail file. I think 12 strips is not enough, especially for a price of 7.99 USD. You only have a small choice in sizes and if something would go wrong you're screwed.
Here are the contents. The sizes are good for my nails. The only thing that sticks out is the length, they are really short.
Here are the instructions:
For best results, clean and buff nails. Push back cuticles.
- Select the size that fits your nail.
- Gently remove clear film from top of nail sticker then gently remove clear film from bottom of nail sticker.
- Hold nail sticker and place the rounded size at nail base, sticky side down.
- Firmly smooth the nail surface until wrickle free.
- Fold the excess nail strip under the nail. gently file the excess off.
Remove with nail polish remover
The first thing that I noticed when removing the sticker from the backing is the smell. It really smelled like soft plastic. The smell was very strong but I didn't mind it. The strip is really strong and thin but I think it consists more of plastic than polish. In their defense, they never stated it was made of 100% nail polish. I first applied a base coat since it only has a color and top coat. The application went easy and smooth. I only had a small problem with creasing but it wasn't very noticable because of the print. I used one coat of Seche Vite to seal off the edges.
I really like the design, I only wish that they would put the design upside down. It felt really natural and it lasted for about four days before one of the stickers peeled off on its own. I could easily remove the stickers by peeling on the edge.
I would buy them again if they are on sale. 7.99 USD is a bit overpriced for me. You can purchase these strips at the Style Addiction website.

I really like these, but I'm too lazy for all that, I would much rather paint a design myself, I like that they last 4 days though!
ReplyDeleteHey Nicole. These ones were very fast compared to other strips, reviews of that will come up very soon but I think your nail art is better anyways :D
