Today I want to show you a really beautiful polish from Golden Rose from the Rich Color Maxi Brush line. This polish has a wider brush for an easy "one step" application. #32 is a very beautiful purple shimmery polish, that it even tends to be duochrome depending on the lighting. According to the bottle, this polish is a one coat nail lacquer, has an ultra shine, is lasting and has an easy application with the maxi brush. For me, this was almost a one coater, the polish is very opaque, a bit on the thick side but not problematic. There were a few spots that I wasn't happy with so I used 2 coats instead, no top coat.
You can compare the brush to Essie's brush, which is my favorite brush to work with. It was a bit thinner than that one, because of the slightly oval form at the brush end, I could easily start at my cuticles and apply the polish with only one swipe, with exception of my thumb.
The duochrome effect can be seen in low lighting. I have no idea if this is actually a duochrome polish since it isn't noticable in the bottle at all, to me it does look like it, also in the picture below on my pink finger. In the sun it turns into a very bright purple shimmer so I'm happy with both of the effects!

Golden Rose is slowly stealing my heart, I love their new products! I've just purchased their whole Jolly Jewels collection, which looks a lot like indie polishes. I'm very excited to share these with you, there's even a China Glaze - It's a Trap-eze! dupe in there! The only thing I don't like about Golden Rose polishes is that they don't have a name, only numbers. :( Here's a sneak preview of the polishes that I'm going to swatch and post on the blog very soon! I've also got a few other things from Golden Rose so I hope that you will fall in love with the brand too!
Golden Rose - Rich Color #32 can be purchased for 4.95 EUR (6.63 USD) and is available at JS Internationails. It's a Dutch store that I've also mentioned in some of my previous posts., I've said that they ship only to the Netherlands/Belgium but I was wrong, they sell Internationally! The price depends on the weight, so if you want to purchase these polishes, you have to contact them by sending an email. Since the webstore is in Dutch, feel free to also contact me if you need help navigating through the website.
*This polish was sent to me for review, please see my Disclosure & Policy page for more information.

Nice polish. Great review. I happen to agree with you re: the polish names. Numbers don't tell the consumer anything. Names, on the other hand...inform and inspire. These guys have to start naming their polishes.
ReplyDeleteLooks really good! Could you happen to tell me the number to the China Glaze It's a Trap-eze dupe already (A)?
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! It's number 115 from the Golden Rose - Jolly Jewels Collection :)
