Hey everyone,
It's time for a new Polish Days! Polish Days is an initiative organized by Hannah at Polly Polish. More info about Polish Days can be found here. This months theme is Something New. This theme really motivated me to try out striped fan brush nails. I've seen so many great mani's using this technique so this is the perfect time to try this out for myself! I'm using polishes that haven't used yet on my blog so that's also something new! I followed this tutorial. It was a bit harder than expected though, but I still like the result! I used two coats of Herôme - Mumbai as a base. Then I used a fan-brush and created the stripes using a fan brush with Herôme - New Dheli and Essie - Butler Please.
It was hard for me to create long thin stripes. The polish dried quicker than expected so I've had to clean my brush multiple times in between. Next time I'm going to try this again with more brighter colors.
Have you ever tried this technique, do you have any tips for me or would you like to try it? Let me know in the comments.

ReplyDeleteHi, Lariesa! You did a perfect job. Absolute perfection. The brush strokes and colors remind me of Monet.
