Hey everyone
It's time for a new Polish Days challenge! Polish Days is a monthly challenge organized by Hannah at Polly Polish. If you want to join, you can look up more info about Polish Days here. This months theme is Back To Nature. Again, the theme that Hannah picked is wonderful! It was the perfect time to finally use feathers that I've bought at a craft store a couple of months ago. I've seen some beautiful real feather mani's at The Nailasaurus and I was so happy when Sammy made a tutorial for it. I followed her tutorial using red feathers and Essie - She's Pampered as a base.
I love this look so much! I love how all the feathers look different. I also saw a few other colors in my local craft store so I can't wait to buy some of those too, and maybe some natural ones.
Don't forget to check the other lovely and talented Polish Days participants!

Great idea that you've used the real material from nature!! :D Love the red-and-black color combi too :)
ReplyDeleteYours look as beautiful as Sammy's! Her feather mani has been on my to do list for ages, but I'm a bit afraid to try it out ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute mani! A feather mani has been on my list for a while now.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been that impressed with the feather-nail-art... until now! Loving the red and the interesting details that the feathers bring to the mani. :)
ReplyDeleteSo so so cool!!!! I need to try this ASAP!! Was it hard to get them all the same size?!? I have to watch the tutorial because I just know I would t be able to figure it out on my own, shoot I can barely figure out how to put on non stickered studs!!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! So beautiful! I need to try this soon :)

This turned out nice! Love the red and black!!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it, Lariesa! This is a showstopper mani. I saw it when Sammy posted her version a few months ago, and have been absolutely intimidated to "try it at home". Afraid I'll end up with feathers glued all over my hands and body.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!

I tried to write a comment while at work, on my IPhone, but kept having screen trouble. :(
ReplyDeleteLariesa, this is very cool and elegant. I've loved the technique since I first noticed in on Sammy's site!
